Life to LIFE with Pastor Kaul

“For indeed we have had good news preached to us, just as they also;
but the word they heard did not profit them, because it was not united by faith
in those who heard.”
Hebrews 4:2

Cars are pretty amazing.  They have literally revolutionized our way of life. However, apart from the necessary fuel, they would just be expensive pieces of modern art.  The fuel intended for the vehicle makes all the difference.  Just try running your car without gas and see how far that will get you – in a matter of time you will give up on the car.

Have you considered that what is true about your car, also relates to your Bible?

The Word of God is a sight to behold – unparalleled beauty, complete internal consistency, amazing prophetic accuracy, Divine depth, and remarkable revelation about God, creation, man, and eternity.  Certainly, the Scripture is a sight to behold – but it is intended to be believed.

Faith is the fuel that moves us forward.  Mere knowledge of God’s inspired Word is insufficient.  The Scriptures bring salvation and life when they are engaged with sincere belief.  Revival, renewal, reminder, rebuke, reward, and reconciliation all are found when God’s message is received with humility and hope.

Do not let the affairs and arguments of this world keep you from fighting the battle of belief.  Let not wayward souls or worldly vices keep you from a child-like faith in God’s inerrant revelation.  Ask God and you shall receive.  As you engage with others help them to see that the benefits of God’s Word come to those who believe.
