Angel Tree®, a program of Prison Fellowship, reaches out to the children of prisoners and their families with the love of Christ. They rely on local churches and groups to give hundreds of thousands of children a gift, the Gospel and a personal message of love on behalf of their incarcerated parent.
Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse, an international relief organization, whose mission is to provide local partners around the world with shoeboxes filled with small toys, hygiene items, and school supplies as a means of reaching out to children in their own communities with the Good News of Jesus Christ. OCC ships these simple gifts outside the United States to children affected by war, poverty, natural disaster, famine, and disease; and to children living on Native American reservations in the U.S. Thank you, friends, for sending out 630 boxes around the globe this year!
STARS Mentoring Project
This year, Fellowship will join hundreds of believers from churches across the Waco area to provide hope, encouragement and crucial reading support to elementary school students in our city through on-campus book clubs.
Did you know that reading on grade level in 3rd grade makes someone up to eight times more likely to graduate from high school? With thirty minutes a week in a book club, you can change the trajectory of a child’s life!
- thirty minutes, once a week
- any weekday
- any time between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
