Looking for encouragement and hope during this Christmas season? Check out the latest post in the Life-to-LIFE Blog on our website, “Christmas Celebrates the Good News that God Keeps His Promises”. As Pastor Grant reminds us, Christmas is the celebration of the unshakable truth that God keeps His promises! We find the joy of Christmas by remembering and rejoicing that our Savior is with us always and will never forsake us (Matthew 28:20; Hebrews 13:5). This season, make it a point to slow down and fix your heart on Jesus Christ.
We encourage you to visit our website at fellowshipwaco.org/life-to-life/ to read this devotional message. You might also want to check out the many encouraging and helpful previous posts while you’re there!
“Joy to the world, the Lord is come! Let Earth receive her King. Let every heart prepare Him room!” How do you think we can make more space in our hearts for Jesus this Christmas season?
Senior adults, come celebrate the Christmas season with us tomorrow, Thursday, December 11, at 3:00 p.m. in the Sycamore Room, North Foyer! Such a wonderful morning at our Women’s Breakfast on Saturday! From warm conversations to shared encouragement, it was the perfect blend of food, fellowship, and faith. We are so grateful for every woman who attended and to all the volunteers, table hosts, and worship team who worked so hard to provide a beautiful atmosphere and make it so special. A special thanks to our wonderful guest speaker, our own Danielle Todd!
The season of Christmas isn’t about gifts and decorations and spending. It’s about the anticipation of a man born to rescue us through His love. “For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; and the government will rest on His shoulders; and His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.” -Isaiah 9:6
We are excited about our annual Christmas Food Box preparation and delivery! This truly is an incredible opportunity to love and serve others in a tangible way this Christmas season! You can help a family in need by participating with us. There are several ways you can help—either through financial giving, referring a family in need to receive a food box, shopping for groceries, packing and delivering food boxes, and by partnering with us in prayer! Please visit the outreach page on our website if you would like to donate, refer a family, or shop for groceries for a food box and pack and deliver it! You may also scan the QR codes above to quickly and easily sign up! If you have any questions, please email Pastor George at george.ohmstede@fellowshipwaco.org.
