The Countdown to Collection Week for Operation Christmas Child is on! Our ForeRunners Senior Adult Ministry recently kicked off OCC season with a fun packing party! Grab a box or two in one of the foyers, fill them up, and bring them back beginning Sunday, Nov. 15. Operation Christmas Child provides local partners around the world with shoeboxes filled with small toys, hygiene items, and school supplies as a means of reaching out to children with the Good News of Jesus Christ. OCC ships these simple gifts outside the United States to children affected by war, poverty, natural disaster, famine, and disease. Visit the ministry table in the foyer for more information. Please return filled boxes by Sunday, Nov. 22.
We’re still glowing from experiencing Women’s Worship Night! Thank you to our Worship Team, volunteers, and our speaker, Fellowship’s own Erin Davis, for an incredible evening!
Stephen Ministers provide one-to-one confidential care and support to those going through a difficult time. We’re looking for more people to serve as Stephen Ministers at Fellowship. We’d love to tell you more about how you can help support others facing challenging circumstances. We invite you to join us for our Stephen Ministry Interest Meeting tomorrow night, October 21, at 6:00pm in the 4th Grade Room. You can also find more info here: https://fellowshipwaco.org/stephen-ministry/.
Reminder: There’s still time to sign up for this Sunday’s Discover LIFE class! It’s the first step toward membership, but attending the class does not obligate you to become a member. Join us and learn from our pastors what we believe and our mission and vision. Meet Ministry leaders, and discover practical ways to connect, grow, serve, and build relationships. Plan to join us this Sunday, October 18, from 9:00am - 12:00 p.m. as we discover LIFE together! Please register at: fellowshipwaco.org/membership or scan the QR code!
Hey guys, don’t forget to sign up for our quarterly Men’s Serve Day this Saturday, October 17! We will meet at the church in the North Foyer at 8:00am to eat a breakfast burrito, pray, then head out to our service projects. These projects will be 2-3 hours in length as we serve others in our congregation with needs such as small home repairs, yard work, etc. If you have junior high and high school age sons, we’d love for you to bring them along! Everyone is welcome to help. We ask that you register by Friday night, October 16, so we can organize the teams. If you have a certain skill that fits a certain project please let us know. Please use the QR code to RSVP or go to https://fellowshipwaco.org/mens-events/. See you Saturday!
