Join us this fall as we journey through Live Free: A Study of Galatians, by Elizabeth Woodson. Together we will explore the book of Galatians and discover the freedom we have in Christ. In this 8-session study on the book of Galatians, author and Bible teacher Elizabeth Woodson reveals that the struggle to fully embrace our freedom in Christ is not a new problem. Walking verse-by-verse through Paul's letter, Elizabeth highlights how this letter teaches us that in the gospel alone do we gain what we desire—freedom from sin and freedom to experience true peace, living the abundant life Jesus offers.

MomLIFE Fall 2026 (Presentation)

MomLIFE

Meeting Time:

Thursday Mornings, Sept. 10 - Nov. 19

Childcare & Café Open | 8:45 AM

Group Time (Sycamore Room) | 9:30-11:30 AM

From the first whisper of promise in Genesis to the full restoration we see in Revelation, Scripture reveals that joy is found in the steadfast presence of God—a brilliant light he has been shining from the very beginning. True joy isn’t something you have to manufacture. And it isn't found in perfection. It’s found in the safe and secure presence of God, who meets us right where we are to strengthen and sustain us by his Spirit—even, and especially, on the days we feel completely drained.

That’s what MomLife is all about: a place to remember who you are while you’re caring for everyone else. A place to be known, encouraged, and rooted in God's truth. Come as you are. Let’s cultivate contagious joy together, becoming a Light so Lovely others can’t help but want to know the Source of it.

Participation Cost: $28 (includes book, programming and childcare). Childcare is available for birth-6th grade for preregistered participants. If you have any questions about MomLIFE, please email women@fellowshipwaco.org or call the church office.

Theology Through the Lens of Church History

Join us as we embark upon an 11-week study focused on exploring core Christian doctrines and practices by examining how they emerged, were contested, clarified, and applied across key eras of church history. This study will show how God’s truth has been understood, defended, and lived out in real historical contexts. We will look at the early church and creeds, events such as the Reformation and technological shifts that amplified it, the Great Awakening, the fight against slavery, the rise of modern missions, and today’s challenges involving marriage, politics, and artificial intelligence.

Meeting Time:

Wednesday Evenings, Sept. 9 - Nov. 18

(Café open, pizza available 5:45-6:30 p.m.)

Truth That Transforms: Knowledge, Holiness, and Hope in the Last Days

Join us as we take an 11-week journey through the books of 2 Peter, Jude, and Titus. We will discover how genuine knowledge of God and His promises produce moral excellence and perseverance. These 3 powerful books warn against the destructive influence of false teachers who deny Christ’s lordship and coming judgment. We look forward to better understanding how these three books call the church to sound doctrine, good works, and confident hope.
