Happening this Sunday, June 1! New events for the summer! At 10:45am in the Fellowship Café, we’ve got Coffee & Connection, a weekly opportunity for the body at Fellowship to connect through fellowship and a time of discussion focused on the sermon questions located in the weekly bulletin. (No registration is required for Coffee & Connection.)
On Sunday night, bring the entire family at 6pm for our first of 3 monthly E3 events this summer! These events will bring the entire congregation, including children and students, together for one 40-minute session of encouragement and equipping, through engaging group-led exercises, followed by a 40-minute session of Q&A for adults, with games and activities for the children, led by students and supervising adults. This Sunday’s E3 Event will focus on faith, encouraging and equipping the body at Fellowship to hold daily devotions as an individual, as couples, and as families. Please register for this event by scanning the QR code above, or visit our website at fellowshipwaco.org/summer. We’re looking forward to a great Sunday!
The ForeRunners Senior Adult Ministry will meet this Sunday morning, June 1, at 10:45am in the Sycamore Room. We would love for anyone age 55 and older to join us! For more information about our ForeRunners Ministry, visit our website at https://fellowshipwaco.org/senior-adults/.
We are so grateful for our FX Camp Volunteers! As you probably know, the safety and well-being of our campers is of utmost importance! For this reason, we ask that all volunteers plan to attend one of the Volunteer Training sessions. The first training session will take place this Sunday, June 1, from 12:30-2:00pm. The second session will be held on Wednesday evening, June 4, from 6:00-7:30pm. If you have signed up to volunteer, please choose one of these 2 sessions to attend. We appreciate you, volunteers! We couldn’t do this without you!
Congratulations to our 2025 graduates! The Student Ministry recently celebrated this special group with dinner. The new graduates shared their wisdom with the younger students while leaders shared how each graduating senior has blessed our Student Ministry and encouraged us in their walk with the Lord. Please join us in celebrating and praying for these young adults as they move forward into new endeavors.
The Fellowship Outreach Ministry has had a great year encouraging and supporting our two partner schools, Speegleville Elementary (Midway ISD) and J.H. Hines Elementary (Waco ISD)! During the recent STAAR testing week, the Lunch Buddies and Morning Mentors provided breakfast at Speegleville and the Kids Ministry assembled 120 treat bags for teachers and staff at both schools! Teacher Appreciation Week at J.H. Hines included special treats provided by our STARS Book Club Mentors. Thank you to all the volunteers from these groups who generously dedicate their time to mentor and help students from both schools!
On this Memorial Day, we remember and honor those who died serving and fighting for our freedom so that we could worship and live freely. We’re so grateful for their sacrifices.
We ask that you pray with us for those who were affected by the recent devastating tornadoes and for Dakota and others who are serving with Eight Days of Hope and other disaster relief organizations in these areas.
