My wife Kay and I came to Fellowship in the Spring of 2018, after I retired from a career in science and science policy in Washington, DC. I grew up in Southern California in a loving Reformed, largely secular, Jewish family but in my freshman year, I heard the Gospel and came to Christ in January of 1966.
Over the years, Kay and I have served in a variety of churches, from Calvary Chapel in California, Park Street Church in Boston, and Fourth Presbyterian Church in DC. I have taught numerous small group Bible studies and served many years as an elder in my previous church.
At Fellowship, I have taught Wednesday men’s studies; I serve as a leader in ForeRunners Senior Adult Ministry, and, with Robert Huerta, I am a “chef” for the Saturday men’s breakfast.
I seek to encourage and disciple others through study, mentoring, and servant ministry. I am an avid student of Scripture and a reader, whose favorite authors include JRR Tolkien, CS Lewis, and Michael Crichton, among many others. Our daughter and family are part of Fellowship, while our son and wife, are in Alabama and younger daughter in Los Angeles.
