The purpose of LIFE groups is to provide authentic community where the keys to LIFE in Christ (Loving God, Investing in Others, Following His Word, Engaging Our World) can be nurtured, encouraged, modeled, and lived out.
"LIFE Group" is the name we give to our small groups that meet regularly in different homes and at the church. While corporate worship and the teaching of God's Word are essential reasons we meet together on Sunday mornings, we realize the need for a small group environment where people are really connected to one another. This is vital to provide opportunities to experience community and to develop strong relationships where we are challenged and encouraged in our relationship with the Lord. We believe that life change happens in small groups.
Our LIFE Groups are one of the key ministries that involve a majority of the adults in our church. Throughout the Waco area, in homes and here at the church, we have small groups which meet at different times and days throughout the week so that we can study God's Word, pray together, share our lives with one another, give and receive care, living out our mission together.
