On Sunday, we celebrated our Women’s Ministry Director, Susan Fann, who will be retiring on August 31. For almost nine years, Susan has served faithfully on our staff as an instrumental part in the development and growth of both our women’s ministry and discipleship ministry. We are so grateful for her humble leadership during her time on staff. She is dearly loved and will be greatly missed! We ask that you please join us in prayer for Susan and her husband, Rod, as they begin this new chapter.

This Sunday, August 31, there will be a Disaster Relief Interest Meeting at 10:45am in the Sycamore Room, led by Dakota Harp. It’s a Family Worship Sunday, so come to first service, then bring your whole family to learn how we can serve others in their time of greatest need! It is important for our kids to see our examples of service for Christ. We will talk about the Texas flooding, a rebuild opportunity in NC, and plans moving forward with disaster response in our local community. We hope to see you there!
