LIFE Together: Growing Together as a Christ-centered Church

Our Mission: To glorify God by living out the LIFE we have in Christ.

LIFE is an acronym that is an easy way to remember central aspects of growing and maturing in our relationship with Jesus Christ.

"… I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly."
(John 10:10b)

"I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me."
(Galatians 2:20)

L-LOVING God

We worship and love the Triune God of Scripture for who He is and all that He has done, is doing, and will do through the perfect life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

It is in loving God that we begin to experience the fullness of the life of God.
(Matt. 22:37; Rom. 12:1-2)

I-INVESTING in Others

We strive to make disciples through the intentional and relational process of maturing Christ-centered believers and mobilizing them for ministry.

The transformation we experience in our relationship with Christ develops our desire to intentionally involve ourselves in serving and developing others.
(Matt. 22:39; Heb. 10:24-25)

F-FOLLOWING His Word

We trust in the authority and sufficiency of Scripture to cultivate Christ-centered lives through preaching, teaching, studying and applying God's word in the power of God's Spirit.

Our relationship with Christ is developed as we learn to depend upon His Spirit and respond faithfully to His Word.
(2 Tim. 3:16-17; James 1:22)

E-ENGAGING Our World

We want to engage the people in our sphere of influence and join others locally, nationally, and globally to spread the love, grace, and gospel of Christ.

As people who experience the love and grace of God, we seek to share the goodness and greatness of Christ with both our words and way of life to the people in our world.
(Matt. 5:16; Matt. 28:19-20)

A Christ-centered church is focused on exalting the Triune God, teaching His word, and making disciples in His power for His glory.
