Grief Recovery Support Group is a support group that offers spiritual and emotional support and encouragement after the death of a spouse, child, family member, or a friend. This program is nondenominational and utilizes biblical concepts to promote healing from grief. Our Grief Recovery Support ministry meets weekly for 8 weeks and provides a warm, caring environment in which to work through the grief process. The group process uses foundational GriefShare program materials and includes three key components: educational (video seminar lead by grief recovery experts); relational (small group discussion); and personal (journaling and individual study).
If you are experiencing grief from a recent or past loss, you are welcome to attend our Grief Recovery Support group at any point during the 8 sessions. Each session is self-contained and provides information about various topics related to your healing process. There is a workbook fee of $20 (scholarships are available) and childcare is provided by reservation.
