final help team 4.26.20

Scripture exhorts believers to use our spiritual gifts to glorify God by building up the body of Christ, by equipping believers for the work of ministry, and by encouraging and loving one another (1 Thess. 5:11; 1 John 4:7; Eph. 4:11-12). The H.E.L.P. Team puts these commands into action. H.E.L.P. is an acronym communicating and promoting the purpose of our H.E.L.P. team (Help, Encouraging, Loving People).

The H.E.L.P. Team provides shepherding care that is honoring to the Lord through care that guides recipients into a richer relationship with Christ and with the body of believers at Fellowship. This team serves people who are struggling with life challenges, providing them with emotional/spiritual support and manifesting Christ's love as they work through these challenges. This support includes, but is not limited to, benevolence, home maintenance, meals, and transportation.

If you have a desire to use your spiritual gifts to glorify God by building up the body of Christ and by encouraging/loving one another, serving on the H.E.L.P. Team provides an opportunity to live out scripture.
