Child Dedication services will be held on Mother’s Day, May 12, during both services. This ceremony provides an opportunity for parents to publicly commit themselves and their children to the Lord. It is a special time when parents promise, by the grace of God, to teach their children about Christ by instruction and by example. Sunday was an exciting day, as we celebrated new life in Christ through baptism! These folks made a public declaration of their inward transformation because of Jesus Christ! Let’s celebrate with them and pray that they would continue to grow deep in their faith.

This week we said goodbye to Student Ministry Director Joel Polvado, as he has accepted a new position as Student Pastor at Hope Church in Rockport, TX. Joel has been an incredible leader to our students while serving faithfully here for the last 2.5 years. We pray for God’s blessings on his upcoming marriage to Lauren in August and their future ministry endeavors. We will miss you, Joel!
