Defeating Repetitive Sin by Vince Miller

Mar. 15 - Apr. 26

The Book of James  by Vince Miller

Every Christian man at some point asks themselves this question, "Why do I keep repeating the same sin, and yet I try new tactics with limited results?" Stop the insanity and join our men for a new study entitled Defeating Repetitive Sin. A five-lesson study that will help you tackle that destructive sin and build a battle plan for increased spiritual results. It is no doubt that repetitive sin is disruptive and generates great discouragement for men. This study helps men begin to break free from the grip of repetitive sin and helps men gain spiritual traction.

Progress never comes easily! If you want to see improvement and concrete results in anything you do, you will need to embrace discomfort. Yet it’s the discomfort that prevents men from pressing on toward the goal. The book of James, which was written by the half-brother of Jesus, serves as a call to action for those who are hesitant to push through discomfort. And for those who like a challenge, James is the book. This book will spur you toward righteous action. In The Book of James: A Bible Study Guide, author Vince Miller explores vital spiritual elements which are important for men of all ages and stages of life. This book addresses the tough issues we all encounter and teaches us to face them head on in a godly way.

Journey Through the Minor Prophets (continued from Fall 2022)

The writer of Hebrews begins by saying, “Long ago in many times and many ways God spoke to our fathers by the prophets…” Who were these prophets? We know of the “big ones” like Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and Daniel. They are called the Major Prophets, but there are twelve Minor Prophets who, over some 500 years, ‘spoke to our fathers.’ Some are familiar, like Jonah, but others are not.

These prophets brought God’s word to many in and around Israel, but they also spoke of the day God would truly save His people through Jesus. In the messages of the Minor Prophets, we will learn about God’s sovereignty. We will also see His holiness that judges sin and His mercy that reaches down and rescues us. Above all we will see His boundless love and grace in Jesus, His son. Join us this coming year as we stroll through these twelve small jewels of the Old Testament that spoke long ago and continue to speak today.

In addition to using your Bibles, we will provide special copies of a small book by G. Campbell Morgan, Voices of Twelve Hebrew Prophets.
